Climbing Area Description
The town of Crested Butte lies directly west of Mount Crested Butte, at the base of which can be found the Skyland boulders which are nestled at the edge of a shady aspen grove.
Taylor Canyon, which is about 10 miles south of Crested butte (halfway between Crested Butte and Gunnison), has some sport and trad climbing (plus some bouldering).
